KOBLACH, Austria: The conventional method of fabricating dental restorations generally involves either milling or grinding. Though generally successful and accurate, these techniques can be considerably time-consuming. Amann Girrbach has now released the Ceramill DNA Generation, revolutionising CAD/CAM-based processing through a strategy it calls “carving mode”, reducing the processing time of materials such as glass-ceramics and hybrid ceramics by up to 60 per cent.
