VIENNA, Austria: One year after its successful first European Aligner Congress, the European Aligner Society (EAS) will be holding the first EAS Aligner Lab, a workshop-based event for aligner treatment education. The one-day event will be held on 18 February 2017 at the Hilton Stadtpark hotel in Vienna, Austria. Registration for the meeting is now open.

In total, the EAS will be organising eight to ten 45-minute workshops, which can be attended by a group of between 20 and 24 delegates and will cover four topics, namely intra-oral scanning, 3D printing, 3D virtual treatment planning and acceleration techniques. During the day, delegates will have the opportunity to rotate between the different topic workshops. Each workshop will consist of an introductory presentation, followed by hands-on or face-to-face interactions with the hardware and software for each topic.

The workshops will be organised in collaboration with aligner companies and brands, including Biolux, CA Digital, Dental Monitoring, InviSolutions, iTero, Scheu Dental, OrthoAccel and OraMetrix.

Dentists and orthodontists interested in the event are encouraged to register at www.eas-aligners.com as soon as possible, because only 200 delegates can be accommodated. Non-members may register for a reduced fee until 3 January 2017. There will be no on-site registration.

The official language of the meeting will be English.
